The city’s neon glow hides a secret: underground
speakeasies pulse with energy from a stolen
alien device. Clara Voss, a singer with a voice
that bends sound, notices the tremors in her
piano during performances. Her bandmate, a
smuggler named Jax, warns her to stop asking
questions.
A raid on a rival gang’s warehouse reveals a
captured robot, its metal frame etched with
strange symbols. Clara recognizes the device in
the gang’s vault — it’s the same one powering
the city’s illegal music scene. She sneaks
inside, but the robot activates, revealing it’s
been waiting for her. It speaks in a language
only she can understand.
The robot, named K7, explains the device is a
“resonance core” that amplifies human emotion
into energy. The aliens used it to manipulate
the city’s power structure, turning musicians
into unwitting conduits. The gang leaders are
unknowing collaborators, their greed exploited
by an unseen force.
Clara steals the core, but the aliens retaliate.
A blackout plunges the city into chaos, and the
robots emerge from the shadows, hunting her. She
flees to the subway, where a group of dissidents
— including a former soldier and a teenage
inventor — join her. They build a shield using
the core’s frequency, disrupting the alien
signal.
In a final showdown at the old opera house,

design. The aliens’ control fractures, and the
robots shut down. The city awakens, free from
manipulation, but the cost is high: Jax
sacrifices himself to destroy the last unit.
